Digital Services Act (DSA)

 

Contact point for Digital Services Act

The Digital Service Act ("DSA") is a uniform legal framework for providers of digital services in the European Union (EU). As required under Article 11 of the DSA, Hostaan Oy has designated support@hostaan.com as the single point of contact for direct communications with the European Commission, Member States' Authorities, and the European Board for Digital Services in connection with the application of the DSA.

Notice of Illegal Content

If you come across content on our site (or on websites hosted by our servers) that you believe to be illegal, offensive, or against our terms of service, we ask you to notify us at your earliest convenience. This helps us maintain a safe and responsible environment for all users.

 

How to notify us

  • Send your notice by e-mail to support@hostaan.com. In your notification, describe as precisely as possible what content is in question and where it is located (e.g. URL address).

  • Include your contact information (name and email address) and a clear explanation of why you consider the content to be illegal or inappropriate.

  • If possible, please also include any other relevant information that may help our evaluation (such as screenshots).

 

How we process notifications

  • All reports are treated confidentially.
  • We evaluate all reports within the framework of Finnish law and our terms of service.
  • We aim to process notifications as quickly as possible, within 5 business days at the latest.
  • We inform the person who made the report about our measures. However, incomplete or fraudulent notifications will not be processed.

 

Appeals process

If you believe that we have made an incorrect decision regarding your content, you can file an appeal.

 

How to appeal a decision

  • Send your appeal by e-mail to support@hostaan.com

  • Provide a detailed description of the situation, including how your content was handled and why you believe the handling was incorrect. Please include your contact information (name and email address) so that we can contact you.

 

How we process appeals

  • We process all appeals and assess the situation fairly and impartially.

  • We will inform you about the outcome of your appeal and any possible further steps.

  • We aim to resolve appeals as quickly as possible, within 5 business days at the latest.
